Introduction:
Green Phoenix Institute makes accessible to the Eugene and Springfield, Oregon community the best of the classical Chinese disciplines of health and healing, as well as Craniosacral Therapy, a western holistic bodywork modality, under one roof. In addition, we host the Center for Sacred Sciences, as well as other community events honoring the sacred dimension of life. Traditional Chinese medicine agrees with the Western axiom, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” That is the basis of the health benefits of Taiji (Taichi), Qigong, and Bagua, and that is also why we work with all of our patients to nurture and preserve their health, as well as to treat disease as soon as it arises. By combining these traditional medical and self-cultivation methods, we hope both to augment the health of all who pass through the Institute, and to share with the Eugene community in Oregon disciplines that promote the ability we all have to cultivate our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. And finally, we hope that our facility’s spiritual intention to bring happiness and harmony to the world bears fruit in the lives of all who share the space with us. Peace be with you.
Our Facility
Green Phoenix Institute is housed in an elegantly remodeled commercial building just blocks from the heart of downtown Eugene, Oregon. We have a traditional Chinese herbal pharmacy, five treatment rooms, and a 1000+ square-foot bamboo hardwood floored training hall, naturally illuminated by seven skylights. Visitors who want to get to know our facility, clinicians, and instructors are welcome to make an appointment for a guided visit.
